Expanding Nourishing Food Options in Richmond

Since 1983, the Richmond Certified Farmers’ Market has been providing access to fresh fruits, vegetables, and delicious hot foods. Today, the market continues its operations under the guidance of its original founder Tom Cloman and a wonderful group of community board members.

And beginning in 2019, we teamed up with the market to help with distributing Market Match, California’s healthy food incentive program that matches customers’ CalFresh nutrition assistance benefits at farmers’ markets.

Join us each Friday to receive up to an extra $10 for fruits & veggies when you bring your CalFresh/EBT card!

“A common theme here is family: the Richmond Certified Farmers’ Market provides a familial environment, supportive of healthy eating. We, the market staff and market vendors, strongly believe in both food equity and increasing access to more nourishing food. Together we’re able to support one another in our effort to uplift our community!”
