Garden Workshop: Edible Landscaping

We’re planting seeds of nourishment and community: join us Monday, May 18th from 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM on a Zoom Meeting, for our Edible Landscaping workshop!  
 
This Edible Landscaping workshop will share about the use of food plants as design features for aesthetic value and consumption in non-traditional landscape. There are many parts of plants that are both beautiful in the landscape, and often, unknown to be edible, and they can be grown in settings for collective stewardship such as affordable housing developments and community facilities like day care and senior centers. The workshop will cover edible plant varieties, sustainable and safe growing practices, site – planning, design, soil & water management and maintenance for fruits & vegetables. This zoom lecture is presented by Rob Bennaton, an Urban Ag, Food Systems & Environmental Education Consultant.
