Learn how to thrive with the power of nutritious foods – join us for our virtual VeggieRx nutrition series for the El Camino Healthcare District community!
Our VeggieRx nutrition program focuses on providing food as medicine: food can be healing when we eat foods tailored to our ancestors, traditions, or indigenous relatives. Through the series, you'll learn the basics of healthy eating and receive tips and tricks for eating healthy on a budget. In the end, you and your family will have the knowledge and tools to create vibrant, nutrient-dense meals.
Bonus: Each week, you'll receive VeggieRx vouchers in the mail, so your whole family can enjoy more locally sourced fruits and vegetables from participating farmers markets, FOR FREE!
Classes begin January 30th from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., and are held weekly on Zoom!
