Garden Workshop: Gifts from the Kitchen
We’re planting seeds of nourishment and community: join us Sunday, December 6th from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the East Palo Community Garden in East Palo Alto, for our Gifts from the Kitchen workshop!
We welcome the Master Food Preservers for another fun workshop with the goal of inspiring some of your holiday gift giving! This Gifts from the Kitchen holiday event will have four mini-workshops covering flavored salts, shrubs, mocktail & cocktail infusion kits and a demo on orange marmalade. Our instructors will guide you every step of way and cover safe preserving practices, tested recipes, and troubleshooting tips. Attendees will be able walk from table to table to try for themselves each craft and ask our instructors any questions they may have. At the end of our workshop, attendees will take home their handmade treats along with an orange marmalade sample and all the recipe cards for at home crafting.
