Garden Workshop: “Building with Cob, Part II”

We’re planting seeds of nourishment and community: join us Saturday, September 13th  from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM in East Palo Alto, for our Buidling with Cob workshop!

Expect to be introduced to the basics of natural building benefits, installation and maintenance! 

Join us for a hands-on natural building workshop where we’ll explore a variety of techniques, including how to identify and test clay soil, and how to source and prepare natural materials. Together, we’ll put these skills into practice by building a garden wall as a community. Whether you’re a creative soul dreaming of building a cob oven, a gardener envisioning a new wall, or an experienced builder looking to reconnect with the earth—everyone is welcome. Let’s get our hands in the soil and learn by doing!

Acompáñanos en un taller práctico de construcción natural donde exploraremos una variedad de técnicas, incluyendo cómo identificar y probar suelos arcillosos, y cómo obtener y preparar materiales naturales. Juntas y juntos pondremos en práctica estas habilidades construyendo un muro para el jardín en comunidad. Ya sea que seas una persona creativa que sueña con construir un horno de cob, una jardinera o jardinero que imagina un nuevo muro, o una constructora o constructor con experiencia que busca reconectarse con la tierra—todas y todos son bienvenidos.
